Today I had a call from a manager at the federal credit union bank in Cincinnati 45249 area. The customer wanted to change the keys on two commercial lever locks inside the building and have a few copy’s for the new keys. I came to the location in an hour after he called and started to take the cylinder locks off the doors to rekey them. One of the cylinders was a master key and the other was not, so I asked my client if he want me to keep it this way with the new keys. He agreed and I was rekeying one of the locks on one key and the second cylinder lock I matched on his keys and a different key as well for the rest of the employees in the facility.

Now he has a master key system on the inside wood door with a lever handle. After that my client needed 30 keys made for the lock with the master key cylinder and 10 more for the cylinder lock without the master key system. I found myself sitting in my truck for almost 30 minutes to cut 40 keys on site in the freezing weather. The 10 keys he asked for was for his hands only and I marked them all as “Master” including “Do Not Duplicate” on the other side of the keys to make sure that nobody can go and copy these keys.
