Office Lockout Services & Lock Installation
We carry any lock brand you might need – our two most popular brands are Kwikset and Schlage. So since the back doors in some offices have a window, Eagle’s Locksmith highly recommends installing a double sided deadbolt lock. Due to a high volume of break ins, a single side lock is extremely easy to access once a burglar breaks the window. So you have added security. However, some doors will have to be adjusted in order to fit in a double cylinder lock system.

Office Lockout Questions
I’m locked out of my office. Will you have to drill the lock?
In the vast majority of cases, no. Our commercial locksmiths use advanced picking tools to manipulate the pins inside your lock cylinder. We always attempt non-destructive entry first to save you the cost of replacing hardware. Drilling is only a last resort for high-security locks that cannot be picked.
My key turns but the door won’t open. What is wrong?
This usually indicates a broken Tailpiece or Cam inside the lock mechanism. The key is turning the cylinder plug, but it isn’t retracting the latch bolt. We can open the door by bypassing the latch and then replace the broken tailpiece on the spot to restore function.
We lost the key to our server room. Can you open it without damaging the door?
Yes. Server rooms often have high-security commercial levers. We can pick these locks or use a bypass tool to slip the latch. Once open, we can rekey the cylinder immediately so you have a new key and security is restored instantly.
Can you make a new key for a file cabinet I’m locked out of?
Yes. You do not need to break open your file cabinets. If there is a code stamped on the lock face (e.g., “FR301”), we can cut a key by code right in our van. If not, we can hand-file a key to fit the lock, saving your furniture from pry marks.
Our Master Key stopped working on one specific office. Why?
This is likely due to a worn key or a “ghost pin” issue inside that specific cylinder. Over time, master keys wear down from heavy use. We can decode your system, cut a fresh master key back to factory specifications, and service the problem cylinder to ensure smooth operation again.
